The Warriors’ dynasty will fall eventually. And voices outside Golden State’s walls seem to be waiting for its demise. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are all in their mid-30s, this Warriors team barely made the playoffs to defend its 2022 title and Green will have the option to opt out of his contract in the offseason.But Green said on a recent podcast he hopes to play four more years in the NBA and retire as a Warrior.“As far as my situation goes, I’ve been here 11 years. Tech and life sciences companies have widened their job cuts in the Bay Area, with more than 100 layoffs adding to the woes for the wobbly sectors, official government filings show.Separately, a company that provides janitorial services at tech offices has decided to chop jobs amid ongoing tech layoffs and tech-spurred cutbacks in space requirements.The most recent tech or life science layoffs involve Medtronic, Jabil, Stratasys and Viasat, which together have revealed plans to eliminate 143 jobs in the Bay Area, according to WARN notices the companies sent to the state Employment Development Department.Here are the details of the tech and life science cutbacks reported recently to the EDD:Medtronic, 59 job cuts in Sunnyvale. BERKELEY, Calif. (KRON) -- A suspect in a series of sexual assaults on UC Berkeley's campus was taken into custody on Tuesday, university police confirmed to KRON4. Police did not publicly identify the suspect. AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — A local high school will close on Wednesday after a teacher died with symptoms of bacterial meningitis.The case is affecting the Eaglecrest High School community. In a letter on Tuesday, the Cherry Creek School District said it's working to identify students and staff who may have been in close contact with the teacher."Those individuals will be offered preventative antibiotics," the district said.Maddie Schmidt, a teacher at the integrated learning center, died over the weekend, according to the district. (KDVR) -- Denver Public Schools' Black Family Advisory Council plans on asking questions about the district’s use of school resource officers.The council wants to make sure students of color, especially Black students, are not mistreated by SROs who are currently in schools.
